Conductor Carson

Why can't it be General Conference every Sunday? Church is so much more enjoyable in your pajamas! I am also a huge MoTab fan, so I was especially delighted when Carson leaped up to help Mack Wilberg direct today! Oh, Grandpa Luke would be so proud!

Tator Time

How lucky we are to have cousins that live in Firth, Idaho... potato country! We had the greatest time gleaning potatoes last week. It truly is a kid's dream... a treasure hunt in the dirt! We are looking forward to consuming tons of carbs this winter with all of our glorious free potatoes.

Sweet Ashton

It's hard to believe that my baby boy is already 4 months old! Ashton is such a happy and content baby. I was so worried about teaching piano lessons with him, but he's been great. (It's the other three that are the problem!) Ashton just quietly sits in his bouncer and gazes up at me. I sometimes forget he's there! He loves to giggle at my songs and his silly older brothers and sister. And did I mention he's my first thumb sucker? I know I shouldn't be happy about that, but it's just so darn cute! I could not adore him more!

One Fancy F.H.E.

Whenever we have friends or family over for dinner, our kids always do something really embarrassing, so we decided it would be good to have an etiquette dinner for Family Home Evening. When Kyler saw me getting our Valentine goblets out, he got really excited and disappeared upstairs. Minutes later, he and McKenna came back downstairs completely dressed up in their church clothes. (Kyler even tried to do his hair, and he never does that!) They were so excited to be fancy for the night! They spoke with English accents, carefully set the table, pulled out Justin and I's chair, sat with impressive posture, and corrected me every time I put my elbows on the table. It proved to me that they can have excellent manners... when they want to! It was such a fun night.
